POLICIES
FESTIVAL SITE POLICIES:
NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES between 10:00 PM and 6:30 AM

ABSOLUTELY NO MOTORBIKES, ATVs OR other MOTOR VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED TO TRAVEL THROUGH THE CAMPGROUNDS BETWEEN 10:00 PM and 6:30 AM. This is a safety issue that will be strictly enforced. Violation of this policy will be cause for eviction from your campsite and possibly from the festival grounds.
NO GLASS

The Merritt Mountain Music Festival organizers have established a "NO GLASS" policy.
In the past, broken glass throughout the campgrounds and the river-bed have created an alarming increase in mishaps to patrons. The Coldwater River is a fisheries habitat so both Environment Canada and Mountainfest will enforce any wrong doing. Glass containers outside the perimeter of individual camp sites will be confiscated and discarded in refuse containers. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding. Patrons wishing to have refreshments are asked to do so in PLASTIC or ALUMINUM containers only.
RIVER ACCESS

Safety and responsibility should be demonstrated when entering the river. Please ensure that the river bank and riverbed remain in their natural state. Do not put foreign products in the river e.g. soaps, shampoos, garbage, cans etc.
SMOKING IN RESERVED SEATING AREA

We ask that patrons who smoke; do so with consideration to others who do not smoke. We recommend that you try to refrain from smoking in the Reserved Seating area during performances. Please try to take your smoke breaks off to the side of the seating area and during the ‘turn-over’ times between performances.
LAWN CHAIRS

Lawn chairs will NOT be allowed to be left on the show grounds overnight! In order to be fair to all patrons, chairs must be replaced each day on a first-come, first-served basis. Show gates open at 11:00 AM.
THIS POLICY DOES NOT APPLY TO THOSE WHO HAVE PURCHASED RESERVED SEATING. LAWN CHAIRS ARE PROVIDED AS PART OF THE RESERVED TICKET AND WILL REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGHOUT THE FESTIVAL. THE RESERVED SEATING SECTION IS ACCESSED WITH SPECIAL WRISTBANDS.
NO VIDEO CAMERAS

At the request of the Performing Artists, there are to be NO Video Cameras allowed on the show grounds.
NO SHOWGROUND ACCESS AFTER 4:30 AM

The show grounds are open from 11:00 AM to 4:30 AM daily, Thursday through Saturday. Sunday hours are 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The show grounds are NOT accessible after hours. This is necessary for site security and clean up and preparation of the show grounds for the next day. In the event that you are visiting other campgrounds, please remember that you will have to walk around the show grounds in order to get back to your own campground.
NO ATV'S

No personal ATV's will be permitted on the premises.
PETS

Out of respect and courtesy to the artists and patrons, pets will not be permitted on the show grounds. We strongly recommend that you leave your pets in the care of a friend during your time at Mountainfest; however, pets will be permitted in the campgrounds. All pets must be leashed at all times in the campgrounds. Be a responsible pet owner.
NO OPEN FIRES.
