The Mountainfest Management Team wishes to thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at this year’s country music festival.
Your application package containing all the details on policies, guidelines and the application form are included on this page. Please review the information and carefully fill out the application form.
Mountainfest, now in its 16th year, has become known throughout North America for country music at its best and a summer experience to remember. Great music has always been the hallmark of Mountainfest. This year some major changes to the operations are being implemented to reflect the changing demographics of our festival. The number of our patrons will allow for a more relaxed and manageable environment. The festival is gearing up to offer a more ‘resort-like’ atmosphere to camping enthusiasts and country music lovers. It will boast a sell-out crowd of more than 55,000 attendees over the duration of the 4-day festival.
All concessions are located on the Show Grounds featuring the Main Stage entertainment and a large Beverage Garden that operates from 11:00 am to 4:00 am Thursday to Saturday, and from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Sunday.
Our patrons are a sophisticated crowd ranging mostly between the ages of 25 –55 years. They have an appreciation for good food, quality merchandise, fun and enjoyment. They come to meet people, see new things and cultivate friendships.
THE SITE
Mountainfest is located one mile south-west of the City of Merritt. The site is comprised of over 211 acres along the Coldwater River with breath taking grounds and surrounding clay bluffs called HooDoo’s. The show grounds are the hub of activity and are accessed through three entry gates. The pedestrian bridges allow access for the patrons to travel from the campgrounds to the show grounds.
The show grounds are provided with all proper and necessary infrastructures to operate concessions. The festival site is visited by patrons throughout the day with peak attendance being between the hours of 6:00 pm and 4:00 am.
VENDOR OPPORTUNITIES
The popularity of Mountainfest is a definite asset to the astute vendor. Whether it is hotdogs and hamburgers, jewelry or coffee; all Mountainfest vendors are proven winners. All approved Mountainfest vendors will experience a high-profile exposure to tens of thousands of event-goers. This is an ideal opportunity for exisiting businesses to take advantage of spaces available for food and product sales.

There are two major categories that can be applied for: FOOD and DRY GOODS.
Important:
Ministry of Health temporary food vendors permit information and application forms can be accessed through this web site. This permit is a requirement to be a food vendor at Mountainfest
You can be a part of the Mountainfest team, but remember space is limited.
Apply now as applications are being accepted only until March 31st, 2008.
