ALL reserved camping purchases will be processed through TICKETMASTER, by calling 1-888-763-7748 (1-888-7- MERRITT) OR ONLINE by clicking on the link below:
ALL camping sites at Mountainfest must be reserved. The majority of sites are a standard size of 16 feet wide by 42.6 feet long. There are a limited number of sites available that are 65 feet in length and some wider sites 20’ wide x 42.6’ long. “Tenting only” sites are also available.
Campsites on the West Side of the Coldwater River will be designated by individual spots created into two areas: half will be ‘red rock’ and the other half will be grass.
Campsites on the East Side of the Coldwater River will remain the same except for the new numbering system.
There are a very limited number of fully serviced sites. All others are considered “dry” camping sites.
You must be self-contained; there are no water or sewer hook-ups available, except for the limited number in Section 2, however water and sanitation services can be obtained from the trucks which frequent each camping area.
RV Camping areas are as follows:
East side of The Coldwater River: Sections 1-2-3-4-5-6-7.
West side of The Coldwater River: Sections 9-10.
It is expected that each campsite will have a minimum of two people, however there will be some flexibility to allow single persons to attend the festival.
Only one steering wheel per site. ONE camping vehicle sticker will be issued per campsite. Anyone wanting an additional vehicle sticker will have to commit to parking the second vehicle on his/her site without encroaching on the road area or your neighbor’s campsite. There is a $35.00 charge for the additional vehicle sticker. Additional vehicle stickers are available at the gates ONLY.
Generators are acceptable, but we ask that you bring a generator with limited noise output. You may run your generator ONLY from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily.
Patrons are required to park as directed, or face the possibility of being towed.
For parking information, contact: info@mountainfest.com
All reserved campers will be allowed access to their campsites as of Monday at Noon. You will be charged a daily ecological fee of $20.00 in advance or at the gate for the number of days you are entering the site in advance of Thursday.
Accessible Campsites are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis by calling Ticketmaster to book your site.
We recommend you leave your pets at home, however, if this is not possible, please be advised pets are not allowed on the showgrounds and MUST be on a leash at all times in the campground. Please be a responsible owner. Remember, the temperature can soar in Merritt to over 40 degrees.
DO NOT BLOCK ROADWAYS. Please respect parking rules/signs.
CLEAN-UP YOUR SITE BEFORE LEAVING. Thank you!!!
All glass containers must remain in your camp area. Plastic containers or cans are preferable!
NO CAMP FIRES OR OPEN FIRES OF ANY KIND.
NOISE CURFEW IS 2:00 AM. Loud music/noise after 2:00 AM will be cause for eviction from your campsite and possibly from the festival grounds.
ABSOLUTELY NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ALLOWED TO ROAM THROUGH THE CAMPGROUNDS BETWEEN 10:00 PM and 6:30 AM. This is a safety issue that will be strictly enforced. Violation of this policy will be cause for eviction from your campsite and possibly from the festival grounds.
There are three camping areas dedicated for a limited number of accessible camping. These areas are located in close proximity to the showground gates and are available to ONLY those who have a legitimate handicap sticker, as well as a letter validating such sticker and person/vehicle it belongs to. THIS RULE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED.
Accessible campsites are subject to all other camping rules.
Friends wishing to accompany a camper in Accessible Camping may do so; by purchasing at the gate, an additional vehicle sticker to park on the same site without encroaching on the road or your neighbour’s campsite.
